Membership information

If you want to discuss membership please contact the Membership Secretary (see contacts).

We ask all new members to do a Start Course before joining as they have been organised to give you an introduction to how the club works and who is who.

When given a membership application form send the completed form to the Membership Secretary (see Contacts).  Payment is preferred by bank transfer but make sure you include an appropriate reference.

If you are going to paddle independently of the club, you may wish to consider individual membership of Canoe England, our national governing body. This will provide you with a range of benefits such as Third Party insurance and a water licence which is required on some stretches of water. Please go to www.canoe-england.org.uk for further information.

Membership fees and charges:
Your membership fee covers lake sessions, Milton Road pool sessions and many trips.   There are separate charges for training courses and assessments.  Kit hire includes the hire of boats and other kit for trips with the club.  For independent trips, please contact the Equipment Officer to book kit out.  The kit must be returned by the next club lake session at latest.
